We’ve engineered the Schindler 3000 to ensure smooth, quiet, and economical operation throughout your elevator’s long life cycle, for every application, and in any environment.
Variable frequency drive systems deliver perfectly controlled power to traction machines and door drives, extending component lifetimes and increasing energy efficiency. Our Suspension Traction Media is light and long-lasting, enabling the use of smaller traction machines that reduce energy consumption, noise levels, and vibration in the car.
We’ve engineered the Schindler 3000 Plus to fit perfectly into existing buildings. Flexible car dimensions optimise car size in the existing shaft, while the high variety of door types and millimetre-accurate positioning avoid the need for building work on landings. At the same time, variable shaft pit and head dimensions ensure easy adaptation and quick installation.
The Schindler 3000 Plus is equipped with our innovative, regenerative drive technology as standard, reducing travel energy by up to 30% compared to conventional technology.
Improving energy efficiency is essential for reducing the environmental impact of elevators and the buildings they serve. Eco-friendly features such as regenerative drive, LED lighting, and standby mode while parked are standard in all Schindler 3000 Plus elevators. This makes it possible to achieve the highest energy-efficiency rating class according to ISO 25745-2*.
* The classification always refers to a specific customer configuration. Usage pattern, load capacity, customer specific options and site conditions influence the final rating.

Schindler 3000 Plus has outstanding architectural flexibility for car, door, and shaft dimensions. Less space taken up by components means more room and comfort for your passengers.
All the primary drive, traction, and control equipment sits in the shaft, leaving the machine room space free for other uses, and making it easy to extend lift access to the top floor thanks to the reduced headroom requirement.
The system is designed to require minimal headroom in order to fit in the existing shaft headroom.
Our Suspension Traction Media (STM) saves energy and shaft space by using a smaller motor and sheave.
The Schindler 3000 Plus controller panel is integrated into the landing door frame for simple installation and maintenance access. Optionally, the controller can be installed on another floor, in another place near the shaft or in the former machine room.
We can adjust car width and depth for you in 10 mm increments. The Schindler 3000 Plus car width can range from 760 mm to 1600 mm, with a car depth from 900 mm to 2400 mm, and the car height right up to 2400 mm, in 100 mm steps. And doors are positioned with millimetre accuracy.
The Schindler 3000 Plus has a minimal pit depth requirement so that it fits easily in the existing shaft pit.

Benefit today from our innovative solutions and digital tools, which will accompany and support you throughout the entire life cycle of your elevator. From planning to ongoing operation, our elevators are designed for the latest technologies.
Our elevators automatically switch to an energy-saving standby or sleep mode during rest periods. In addition, our regenerative drive systems feed the self-generated energy back into the home network.
To provide an insight into the ecological performance of our elevators throughout their life, we provide Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). We’ve registered EPDs at the "International EPD® System" for all major elevator product lines, taking an important step further in the assessment of the environmental performance of our products, while underlining our continuous efforts toward sustainable solutions.
For information about the environmental performance of our elevators and their full life cycle, visit the EPD website.
